Ground ginger makes these carrots surprisingly tasty! The recipes comes from mccormicks spices.

Ingredients

  • Baby Carrots
  • Water
  • Butter
  • Honey
  • Orange Juice
  • Ground Ginger
  • Salt
  • Ground Nutmeg
  • Parsley Flakes

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet combine carrots, water, and 1 tablespoon of the butter
  2. Bring to boiling
  3. Reduce heat to medium
  4. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes or until carrots are nearly tender
  5. Drain
  6. Return to skillet
  7. In a small bowl combine honey, orange juice, ginger, salt, and nutmeg
  8. Pour over carrots
  9. Add the remaining butter
  10. Cook, uncovered, 5 to 6 minutes more or until carrots are tender, stirring to glaze carrots
  11. Just before serving, sprinkle with parsley
