A handy snack mix that can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Ingredients

  • Dried Apricot Halves
  • Walnut Halves
  • Miniature Pretzel Twists
  • Chex Cereal
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Orange Rind
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon
  • Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 300f
  2. Stir together apricots, nuts, pretzels, and cereal
  3. Set aside
  4. In a small saucepan, melt butter
  5. Stir in orange rind and spices
  6. Heat until aromatic, about 15 seconds
  7. Pour over apricot mixture
  8. Toss thoroughly to coat
  9. Sprinkle with brown sugar and continue to toss
  10. Spread mixture on foil lined baking pan
  11. Bake 20 to 25 minutes
  12. Toss once during baking
  13. Cool and store in airtight container
