Ingredients

  • Italian Seasoning
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Kosher Salt
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • Plain Breadcrumbs
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Halves
  • Egg
  • Water
  • Fresh Tomato
  • Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Fresh Basil
  • Flat-leaf Italian Parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees f
  2. Coat casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray
  3. Set aside
  4. Combine the first seven ingredients in a shallow dish, stir to mix well
  5. Dip chicken one piece at a time in the beaten egg and dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere
  6. Place chicken in the prepared casserole dish
  7. Bake for 25 minutes
  8. Turn up the heat to broil
  9. Remove chicken and transfer to a piece of foil
  10. Top with tomatoes, mozarella, and vinegar
  11. Finish cooking for an additional 3 to 5 minutes to melt the cheese
  12. Sprinkle with basil and parsley
