Ingredients
- Boiling Water
- Dates
- Baking Soda
- Natural Bran
- Whole Wheat Flour
- Rolled Oats
- Brown Sugar
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- 2% Low-fat Milk
Instructions
- Grease and flour 9×5-inch loaf pan
- In a large bowl, pour boiling water over dates or raisins, add soda and let stand for 5 minutes
- Add natural bran, flour, rolled oats, sugar, baking powder, salt and milk
- Mix until combined
- Pour into loaf pan
- Bake at 350f for 70-80 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean
