Ingredients

  • Cooked Small Shell Pasta
  • Margarine
  • Onion
  • All-purpose Flour
  • 2% Low-fat Milk
  • Fresh Chives
  • Salt
  • Tabasco Sauce
  • Pink Salmon
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Fresh Tarragon
  • Poppy Seeds

Instructions

  1. In saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat
  2. Add onion and cook until tender
  3. Stir in flour
  4. Mix well
  5. Add milk and cook, whisking, until mixture comes to boil thickens and loses any raw-flour taste
  6. Stir in chives and pepper
  7. Add 1 / 4 cup of reserved cooking liquid
  8. Flake salmon and add along with juices and chive mixture to pot with linguine
  9. Mix lightly
  10. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over each serving
