I can't seem to make enough of this sauce–and i triple the recipe every time. My family uses it on eggs, hash browns, taco's and burritos (of course). So, if you like this type of thing, this is the sauce for you!

Ingredients

  • Tomato Paste
  • Water
  • Vinegar
  • Canned Jalapeno Slices
  • Chili Powder
  • Dried Onion Flakes
  • Salt
  • Cornstarch
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Sugar
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Combine the tomato paste and water in a saucepan
  2. Whisk until smooth
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the tomato mixture
  4. Heat over medium / high heat until it begins to boil
  5. Continue to cook, stirring often, for 4 to 5 minutes
  6. Remove from heat
  7. When sauce has cooled, pour into a glass airtight container and refrigerate
  8. Stores well in the refrigerator
