Fillet O Tofu

Ingredients

  • Firm Tofu
  • Sherry Wine Vinegar
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Hot Pepper Sauce
  • Eggs
  • Flour
  • Canola Oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the tofu into four even slices
  2. Wrap each slice in a paper towel and place on a cookie sheet
  3. Top with another cookie sheet and a 28 oz can of tomatoes
  4. Let sit for 1 hour
  5. Combine vinegar, worcestershire sauce and hot sauce
  6. Marinate tofu sauce in this, 15 minutes per side
  7. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat
  8. Drain tofu slices on paper towels
  9. Dredge in flour, then coat the slices with a thin coat of beaten egg
  10. Gently slide the slices into the hot oil, cook for 2 minutes, carefully turn the slices over and cook another 2 minutes
  11. Gently move to serving plate
