A variation of the popular steak. Anything with bacon is fine with me! Found in "ways to prepare meat 1978".

Ingredients

  • Steak Fillets
  • Bacon
  • Black Pepper
  • Butter
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Wrap a bacon slice around each fillet and fasten with a toothpick
  2. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes
  3. Sprinkle each side with ground black pepper and placer on a broiler rack
  4. Spread each fillet with a little butter and cook under a pre-heated broiler for 6-8 minutes, spreading the remainder of the butter on the fillet when turned
  5. Do not pierce steak when turning
  6. Season with a little salt and serve
  7. Works with mushrooms or mushroom sauce
