Description
This is not a burger that you can bbq as it is a bit fragile. It tastes wonderful, but can be a bit messy. Use either beef or lamb (i love the lamb). You can increase this recipe for as many burgers as you want to make. I add additional cheese slices as well as the feta interior. I like to serve the burger with recipe #13613. Enjoy
Ingredients
- Ground Beef
- Sweet Chili Sauce
- Ketchup
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Tarragon Vinegar
- Feta Cheese
- Garlic Powder
- Chili Powder
- Oregano
- Salt & Pepper
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- Mushrooms
- Kaiser Roll
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce Leaf
- Sweet Onion
- Hot Mustard
Instructions
- Make two equal sized patties
- Mix chili sauce, ketchup, worcestershire, tarragon, vinegar, garlic, chili, oregano, salt and pepper
- Mix well
- Pour this sauce on one side of your hamburger
- Add feta cheese
- Place other patty on top and seal edges well
- Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over patty
- Fry hamburger patty on high heat for about 2 minutes on one side
- Flip and turn the heat to medium
- Be careful, this patty is a bit fragile
- Cook another 2 minutes
- Lower heat to low
- Add mushrooms to the pan
- Cover the pan and continue cooking until patty is well done, about 10 minutes
- Meanwhile, toast the bun on the inside
- Place patty on bun
- Garnish hamburger with tomato, onion, lettuce and mustard–or any of your favorite toppings
- Serve
