Saw this one in taste of home's feb-mar 08 issue; made a few adjustments to suit our tastebuds, and this is the lovely result! This will put a smile on your face as the aroma wafts through the kitchen!

Saw this one in taste of home's feb-mar 08 issue; made a few adjustments to suit our tastebuds, and this is the lovely result! This will put a smile on your face as the aroma wafts through the kitchen!

Ingredients

  • Bacon
  • Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
  • Prepared Mustard
  • Butter
  • Fresh Asparagus
  • Onion
  • Fresh Mushrooms
  • Eggs
  • Thyme
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Parsley
  • Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon, drain, crumble
  2. Remove from pan, pour off grease
  3. Set aside
  4. Separate crescent rolls into triangles, place in ungreased 9-inch pie plate, press seams together over the bottom and up the sides to form the crust
  5. Spread with mustard
  6. Set aside
  7. Preheat oven to 375
  8. In bacon pan, melt butter
  9. Saute asparagus, onions & mushrooms until tender-crisp
  10. In a large bowl, combine custard ingredients
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes
  12. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting
  13. Mmm-good!
