Easy Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread

I make this recipe with my own homemade dough, but frozen store-bought will do fine!

Ingredients

  • Frozen Bread Dough
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Raisins
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Vanilla
  • Whipping Cream

Instructions

  1. On a lightly floured surface, roll thawed bread dough into a 10 x 12-inch rectangle
  2. With a pastry brush, paint the dough with 1-1 / 2 tablespoons water
  3. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon evenly over the dough
  4. Top with raisins
  5. Roll up tightly jelly-roll fashion, beginning on the 12-inch side
  6. Seal all seams and ends
  7. Divide rolled up dough into two separtate pieces
  8. Twist the two pieces together to form one twisted loaf
  9. Place the loaf into greased 8×4-inch loaf pan
  10. Brush dough with melted butter
  11. Let the dough rise in a warm place until it doubles in size
  12. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  13. Remove from pan to cool
  14. When the bread is cool, mix the glaze ingredients together, and drizzle over loaf
  15. Slice to serve
