Devilish Chicken Bell Peppers

This is sooo good–and yes, it says potato chips.

Ingredients

  • Green Peppers
  • Whole Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • Green Pepper
  • Onion
  • Margarine
  • Potato Chips
  • Deviled Ham
  • Egg
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut off the tops of the green pepper and remove the seeds
  2. Cook peppers in boiling, salted water to cover for 5 minutes
  3. Drain and set peppers aside
  4. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces
  5. Cook the chicken, chopped green pepper and onion together in butter over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently
  6. Drain well
  7. Combine the chicken mixture, chips, ham, and egg
  8. Mix well
  9. Fill peppers with the mixture
  10. Place in an 8-inch baking dish
  11. Pour tomato sauce over and all around peppers
  12. Bake at 375f for 25 minutes
  13. Sprinkle cheese over top of peppers, and bake 5 minutes more
