Crunchy Baked Fish Fillets

Fish marinated in french dressing before it is coated in a french-fried onion and cheese mixture. Taken from "the complete family cook book". Haven't tried it yet, but i will be soon!

Fish marinated in french dressing before it is coated in a french-fried onion and cheese mixture. Taken from "the complete family cook book". Haven't tried it yet, but i will be soon!

Ingredients

  • Fish Fillets
  • French Dressing
  • Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • French-fried Onions
  • Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Thaw fish steaks if frozen
  2. Cut into serving pieces
  3. Place fish in a shallow baking pan
  4. Combine french dressing, lemon juice and salt
  5. Pour sauce over fish and let stand 30 minutes, turning once
  6. Remove fish from sauce and place in a well-greased baking dish
  7. Crush onions in plastic bag with a rolling pin
  8. Add cheese to onions and mix thoroughly
  9. Sprinkle onion mixture over fish
  10. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork
