Crumbed Turkey Steaks

Ingredients

  • Steaks
  • Plain Flour
  • Egg
  • Bread
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Butter
  • Sunflower Oil
  • Parsley

Instructions

  1. Lay the turkey steaks between two sheets of plastic wrap
  2. Hit with a rolling pin until flattened
  3. Snip edges of the steaks with scissors a few times to prevent them from curling during cooking
  4. Place the seasoned flour on one plate, the egg in a shallow bowl and the breadcrumbs and parmesan mixed together on a third plate
  5. Dip each side of the steaks into the flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs and cheese until evenly coated
  6. Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan and fry the turkey steaks over moderate heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden
  7. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges
