Crowd Pleasing Pot Pie

Family-sized chicken or turkey pot pie

Ingredients

  • Cooked Chicken
  • Potatoes
  • Frozen Pie Crusts
  • Onion
  • Frozen Peas
  • Celery
  • Carrot
  • Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • Chicken Broth
  • Sage
  • Paprika
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt And Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9×13 glass or ceramic baking dish with cooking oil
  2. Unroll and cut one pie crust in half and place each half in bottom of dish with straight edges coming up on both sides
  3. Cut a second rolled pie crust into quarters
  4. Use 1 / 4 for each end of dish to complete the bottom crust
  5. Press seams together
  6. Saute onions, carrots and celerly in large pan with a tsp of butter or olive oil until tender
  7. In a very large bowl, mix together chicken, potatoes, peas, sauted onion mix, canned soup & broth
  8. Pour in baking dish and spread out evenly
  9. Sprinkle seasonings atop of mixture
  10. Place remaining pie crust on top in the same order as you did on bottom
  11. No need to press seams together
  12. The holes will create vents for the steam
  13. Bake in over 375 degrees ~ 30 minutes til crust is done
