Crock Pot Pork Ribs

Delicious fall-off-the-bone pork ribs....sooo good! While the original recipe calls for country-style boneless ribs, i've used pork spare ribs purchased at the butcher counter of the grocery store.

Delicious fall-off-the-bone pork ribs….sooo good! While the original recipe calls for country-style boneless ribs, i've used pork spare ribs purchased at the butcher counter of the grocery store.

Ingredients

  • Pork Ribs
  • Vegetable Oil
  • White Onion
  • Soy Sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Brown Sugar
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Black Pepper
  • Malt Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Butcher ribs into individual pieces and trim excess fat
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large cast iron skillet or pan
  3. Brown ribs evenly on all sides, starting bone-side down
  4. Transfer ribs to the crock pot and keep covered in between batches
  5. In a medium bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients and whisk
  6. Cover the ribs with the onion and sauce
  7. Turn to coat
  8. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours
