Crescent Holiday Appetizer Tree

Ingredients

  • Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Dinner Rolls
  • Cream Cheese Spread
  • Milk
  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Yellow Bell Pepper
  • Fresh Broccoli
  • Baby Carrots
  • Cucumber

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375f remove dough from can in 1 long roll
  2. Do not unroll or separate
  3. Cut roll into 16 slices
  4. Place slices, cut side down, on ungreased cookie sheet
  5. To form tree, start by placing 1 slice for top
  6. Arrange 2 slices just below, with sides touching
  7. Continue arranging a row of 3 slices, then a row of 4 slices, ending with a row of 5 slices
  8. Use remaining slice for tree trunk
  9. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown
  10. Cool 1 minute
  11. Carefully loosen from cookie sheet with spatula and slide onto wire rack
  12. Cool completely, about 15 minutes
  13. Place tree on serving platter or tray
  14. In small bowl, mix cream cheese spread and milk until smooth
  15. Spread mixture over baked tree
  16. Cut strips from red bell pepper for garland
  17. Chop any remaining red pepper
  18. With small star-shaped canap cutter, cut star from yellow bell pepper
  19. Chop remaining yellow pepper
  20. Decorate tree with bell peppers, broccoli, carrots and cucumber
  21. Serve immediately, or cover loosely and refrigerate up to 24 hours before serving
