Ingredients

  • Water
  • Rice Wine
  • Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • Sugar
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Beef Stew Meat
  • Green Onions
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Cinnamon Sticks
  • Fresh Ginger
  • Fresh Spinach
  • Lo Mein Noodles

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the first 4 ingredients
  2. Set aside
  3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large pot over medium-high heat
  4. Add in half the beef, browning on all sides
  5. Remove from pan and repeat procedure with 1 teaspoon oil and remaining beef
  6. Return beef to pan
  7. Add in water mixture, onions, garlic, cinnamon, and ginger
  8. Bring to a boil
  9. Lower heat, cover, and simmer 2 hours or until beef is tender
  10. Discard ginger slices and cinnamon
  11. Stir in spinach
  12. Cook for 3 minutes or until wilted
  13. Serve over noodles
