Ingredients

  • Distilled White Vinegar
  • Dry Mustard
  • Celery Seed
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Green Cabbage
  • Red Cabbage
  • Carrot

Instructions

  1. Dressing: put the vinegar, mustard, and celery seeds into a medium bowl and whisk to combine
  2. Season with salt to taste
  3. Add the sugar and whisk vigorously until dissolved
  4. Pour the vegetable oil in a thin stream into the bowl while whisking constantly, until it is well combined with the other ingredients and a smooth dressing is formed
  5. Season with salt to taste and set aside
  6. Coleslaw: put the green and red cabbages and carrots into a large bowl
  7. Add the dressing and toss well to combine
  8. Store the coleslaw in the refrigerator until ready to use, up to 1 day
  9. Serve chilled
