Ingredients

  • Chuck Roast
  • Onion
  • Water
  • Celery
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Catsup
  • Brown Sugar
  • Cider Vinegar
  • Allspice
  • Soy Sauce
  • Dry Mustard
  • Chili Powder
  • Hot Sauce
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Bay Leaf
  • Garlic Salt
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Place roast, onions, celery, garlic and water in a large pot
  2. Bring to a boil then cover and turn down to low heat and simmer the roast for at least 4 hours
  3. Remove from liquid, saving about 1 cup of liquid, and cool slightly
  4. Shred roast and add to the remaining liquid
  5. Add all remaining ingredients and cook uncovered for 1 hour
  6. Serve on buns with coleslaw
