Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Onions
  • Celery Ribs
  • Potato
  • Carrot
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Water
  • Bay Leaf
  • Basil
  • Bacon
  • Chicken Stock
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Saute veggies and garlic in butter for about 15 minutes
  2. Add water, bay leaf, and basil
  3. Simmer, covered, until vegetables are tender
  4. 20 – 25 minutes
  5. Mash the veggies or process briefly in a food processor
  6. Do not make it into a homogenous mix
  7. You should still be able to discern separate ingredients and colors
  8. Add the chicken stock and optional meat
  9. Heat and season with worcestershie and paprika before serving
