Ingredients

  • Ground Beef
  • Yellow Onions
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Oil
  • Tomatoes
  • Tomato Paste
  • Diced Green Chilies
  • Pickled Jalapeno Peppers
  • Chili Powder
  • Salt
  • Ground Cumin
  • Oregano
  • Beef Broth
  • Water
  • Pinto Beans

Instructions

  1. Brown mean with onions and garlic in small amount of oil
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, chilies, jalapenos, seasonings, beef broth, and water
  3. Bring mixture to a boil
  4. Reduce heat to low and cook 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally
  5. Adjust seasonings, if necessary
  6. Add beans during last 30 minutes of cooking
  7. Serve hot in bowls with an assortment of condiments such as grated cheeses, sliced olives, pico de gallo, chopped onions, etc
