Ingredients

  • Lean Ground Beef
  • Milk
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Fresh Basil Leaves
  • Salt
  • Ground Mustard
  • Ground Pepper
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Egg
  • Plain Breadcrumbs
  • Onion
  • Red Bell Peppers
  • Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Mix all ingredients except ketchup
  3. Spread mixture in ungreased 8×4 or 9×5-inch loaf pan, or shape into 9×5-inch loaf in ungreased 13×9-inch pan
  4. Spread ketchup over top
  5. Insert ovenproof meat thermometer so
  6. Bake uncovered 1 to 1-1 / 4 hours or until beef is no longer pink in center and thermometer reads at least 160 degree
  7. Let stand 5 minutes, remove from pan
