This is a hearty steakhouse-style steak that is sure to make your guests feel special – and you don't even need to go to any fuss. Or, you can treat yourself with a delicious meal. If you prefer milder white button mushrooms, you can swap them for the wild ones.

Ingredients

  • Kosher Salt
  • Cracked Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Dried Rosemary
  • Porterhouse Steaks
  • Butter
  • Wild Mushrooms
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Rosemary Sprig

Instructions

  1. Position broiler rack so that top of meat on rack in pan will be about 5 inches from heat source
  2. Preheat broiler
  3. Combine 1 t
  4. Salt, pepper, garlic powder and 1 / 4 t
  5. Dried rosemary
  6. Sprinkle over steaks
  7. Place on rack in broiler pan
  8. Broil, turning once, 6-7 minutes per side for medium-rare
  9. Meanwhile, in nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat
  10. Add mushrooms and remaining salt and dried rosemary
  11. Cook, stirring, until browned, 6-7 minutes
  12. Add vinegar
  13. Cook, stirring, 1 minute
  14. Remove from heat
  15. Stir in tomatoes
  16. Transfer steaks to platter
  17. Top with mushroom mixture
  18. Sprinkle with parsley and garnish with rosemary sprigs
