Pan Seared Salmon With Sour Cream And Dill

I have altered the cooking time. Don't let the fish get dry.

Ingredients

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salmon Fillets
  • Salt And Pepper
  • Sour Cream
  • Dill
  • Lemons, Juice Of
  • Shallot
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Horseradish

Instructions

  1. Coat a large skillet with olive oil and place over medium heat
  2. When hot, add the fillets to the pan skin side down
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Cook for 7 minutes until the skin is nice and brown
  5. Turn the fish over and cook for 7 minutes on the other side
  6. Keep warm while preparing the sauce
  7. In a small bowl whisk together sour cream, dill, lemon juice, shallot, red pepper flakes and horseradish
  8. Season with salt and pepper
  9. Serve the sauce over the pan-seared salmon
