Recipe is taken from my america's best recipes cookbook. The recipe states that they are light and airy on the inside and crispy on the outside — the addition of the pecans sound wonderful! The recipe also recommends serving these popovers with honey butter (recipe included).
Ingredients
- Butter
- Honey
- Lemon Rind
- All-purpose Flour
- Salt
- Milk
- Eggs
- Pecans
Instructions
- Combine first 3 ingredients, stir well, and chill
- Combine flour and next 3 ingredients
- Beat with a wire whisk just until smooth
- Stir in pecans
- Pour batter evenly into six greased custard cups
- Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden
- Serve immediately with chilled butter
