Oreo White Chocolate Mousse Cake

Perfect for any holiday – use the seasonal oreo cookies for this recipe. Note: 6 hour cooking time is actually refrigeration time.

Ingredients

  • Oreo Cookies
  • Butter
  • Unflavored Gelatin
  • Milk
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Whipping Cream

Instructions

  1. Finely crush 24 of the cookies
  2. Mix with butter
  3. Press firmly onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan
  4. Set aside
  5. Coarsely chop 24 of the remaining cookies
  6. Set aside
  7. Sprinkle gelatin over milk in large saucepan
  8. Let stand 1 minute
  9. Cook on low heat 3 minutes or until gelatin is completely dissolved, stirring constantly
  10. Add chocolate chips
  11. Cook until chips are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently
  12. Place saucepan in bowl of ice water
  13. Let stand 8 to 10 minutes or until gelatin mixture is slightly thickened, stirring frequently
  14. Gently stir in chopped cookies and the whipped cream
  15. Spoon into crust
  16. Refrigerate at least 6 hours
  17. Halve remaining cookies
  18. Arrange on top of cake just before serving
