Ingredients
- Butter
- Onions
- Sugar
- Red Wine
- White Vinegar
- Bay Leaf
- Thyme Leaves
- Grenadine
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in saute pan
- Add onions and sugar
- Cook for 5 to 8 minutes until onions are caramelized
- Add red wine, white vinegar, bay leaf, thyme, grenadine and salt and pepper
- Simmer until liquid is gone
- Serve chilled
- This unique accompaniment will go well with almost any dish
- Poultry, beef and game meats are best served with this on the side
- Onion lovers will be creative with its use
