Ingredients

  • French Bread
  • Ground Beef
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Onion
  • Parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano Leaves
  • Dry Basil Leaves
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Eggs
  • Oil
  • Cooked Spaghetti
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Mushroom
  • Dry Red Wine
  • Sugar
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients for gravy
  2. Set aside
  3. In a food processor or blender, whirl bread to make crumbs
  4. In a large bowl, mix together crumbs, ground beef, parmesan cheese, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic, and eggs
  5. Form mixture into 1 1 / 2 inch balls
  6. Heat oil in a large frying pan and brown meatballs
  7. Drain on paper towels
  8. Add meatballs to gravy
  9. Add 1 / 4 cup parmesan cheese to gravy
  10. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 1 1 / 2 to 2 hours
  11. Serve over cooked spaghetti
