I make this in a 3 quart saucepan but if you a have small tagine or slow cooker use it. You can use boneless thighs too.

Ingredients

  • Oil
  • Onion
  • Garlic Clove
  • Salt And Pepper
  • Ground Ginger
  • Coriander
  • Cumin
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Cayenne
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Tomatoes
  • Raisins
  • Almonds
  • Chickpeas
  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

Instructions

  2. In a 3 quart sauce pan saute onion and garlic in oil
  3. Add ginger, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg and cayenne
  4. Simmer for a minute
  5. Stir in tomatoes, almonds, raisins, chickpeas and vanilla
  6. Add chicken
  7. Put your burner as low as it will go
  8. Let cook for 1 hour or until chicken is done
