Ingredients

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Butter
  • Sweet Onion
  • Fresh Mushrooms
  • Garlic
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Tomatoes
  • Limoncello
  • Heavy Cream
  • Fresh Basil
  • Parmigiano-reggiano Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Ravioli

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil & butter in pan over medium heat
  2. Saut onion until lightly golden
  3. Add mushrooms and continue browning
  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes for another 1 minute
  5. Carefully add tomatoes should boil vigorously watch for splatters
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, while you cook pasta of choice
  7. While pasta is draining, add basil, cream, and cup of cheese and bring back up to temperature, without boiling
  8. Taste again for salt & pepper
  9. Serve over pasta, ravioli, or paillards of chicken, or seafood – sprinkle with remaining parm
  10. Yum-oh!
