Description
This tasty alternative to traditional ground beef is extremely versatile and can be used in all the same ways, as a topping for baked potatoes, with mash, pasta or layered in a lasagne.
Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil
- Onion
- Carrot
- Celery
- Red Lentils
- Tomatoes
- Vegetable Stock
- Soy Sauce
- Dried Herbs
- Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the chopped vegetables for about 5 minutes over a medium heat until lightly coloured
- Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer
- Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until tender and serve as wished
