Indonesian Stir Fried Carrots

Carrots w/ some heat!

Ingredients

  • Butter
  • Shallots
  • Green Chili Pepper
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Carrot
  • Vegetable Broth
  • Dark Soy Sauce
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. In a wok or large skillet, heat the 2 tablespoons of butter
  2. Saute the chopped shallots and chili for 1 minute
  3. Add the garlic and the carrots
  4. Stir continuously for a minute or so and then add the broth and soy sauce
  5. Cover and continue to cook for about 4 minutes
  6. Uncover, taste, and add salt if necessary
  7. Cook for a further 2 minutes, stirring all the time
  8. Serve
