Description
A wonderfully delicious cookie. When ida made these cookies all of us kids would follow the aroma into the kitchen. I think we must all still have the memory of those soft warm cookies with a glass of milk. Note: cooking time is for one batch in the oven.
Ingredients
- Brown Sugar
- Butter
- Egg
- Salt
- Baking Soda
- Vanilla
- Applesauce
- Flour
- Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Cream butter and brown sugar
- Mix in egg
- Stir in salt, baking soda, vanilla, applesauce and flour
- Add in the chocolate chips
- Nuts can be added if desired
- Place by spoonful on greased cookie sheet or use parchment
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes
