Herb And Cheese Scones With Chive Cream

Ingredients

  • Self-raising Flour
  • Salt
  • Cayenne Pepper
  • Butter
  • Mixed Herbs
  • Tasty Cheese
  • Reduced-fat Milk
  • Natural Yoghurt
  • Chives
  • 97% Fat-free Shaved Leg Ham

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220c line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper
  2. Sift flour into a large bowl
  3. Add salt, cayenne pepper and pepper
  4. Mix well to combine
  5. Add butter
  6. Using your finger
  7. Add herbs and cheese to flour mixture
  8. Stir well to combine
  9. Add milk
  10. Mix with a flat-bladed knife until a soft dough forms
  11. Knead lightly on a floured surface
  12. Pat dough into a 2cm-thick round
  13. Using a 5cm cutter, cut into 12 rounds
  14. Place rounds close together on a baking tray
  15. Bake for 12 minutes, or until golden and well-risen
  16. Set aside on baking tray to cool slightly
  17. Combine sour cream, chives and salt and pepper in a small bowl
  18. Halve scones
  19. Top 12 halves with shaved ham and chive cream
  20. Sandwich together with remaining scone halves
  21. Serve
