This is the first and only time i've worked with fennel. I really love the way the flavors go together with this light fish dish.

This is the first and only time i've worked with fennel. I really love the way the flavors go together with this light fish dish.

Ingredients

  • Halibut Steaks
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Fennel Bulb
  • Blood Oranges
  • Lemon Zest

Instructions

  1. Season fish with salt and pepper
  2. Heat 1 tbs olive oil in a saute pan at medium high heat
  3. Add fish and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fish is cooked through
  4. Combine oranges, fennel, lemon zest, and 1 tbs olive oil in non-metal bowl
  5. Season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper
  6. Serve with fish
  7. Enjoy!
