Ingredients

  • Buttermilk
  • Gram Flour
  • Salt
  • Green Chili Paste
  • Ghee
  • Asafoetida Powder
  • Cumin Seed
  • Clove
  • Cinnamon Stick
  • Curry Leaves
  • Jaggery
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves

Instructions

  1. Whisk together besan and yogurt thoroughly
  2. Add 4 cups water and mix again
  3. Peel, wash and cut radish into small dices
  4. Wash, dry and cut ladyfingers into half
  5. Grate jaggery
  6. Now combine yogurt mixture, vegetables, jaggery and green chilies
  7. Cook until mixture returns to medium thick consistency stirring all the time
  8. Adjust salt
  9. Heat oil, add fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and asafetida powder
  10. When the seeds crackle add it to kadhi, mix well
  11. Serve hot
