A light, tasty, healthier dessert for the low calorie diet conscious. Get your green tea antioxidant benefits from a cookie.

Ingredients

  • Green Tea Bags
  • Almond Flour
  • All-purpose Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt
  • Raw Sugar
  • Canola Oil
  • Butter
  • Egg
  • Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and contents of the two elmstock green tea bags in a bowl
  3. In a mixing bowl blend butter, oil, sugar or honey well by hand or with an electric mixer
  4. Add egg and vanilla and beat until smooth
  5. Add the flour mixture gradually until al ingredients are well blended
  6. Store covered in the refrigerator for an hour
  7. Grease baking sheet
  8. Drop one tablespoon mounds two inches apart on baking sheet
  9. Press an almond sliver in center of mound
  10. Bake for 15 minutes until light golden brown
  11. Cool and serve
