Tasty, easy and healthy side dish from sparkpeople.com.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Green Beans
  • Olive Oil
  • Yellow Onion
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. If using fresh green beans, cook green beans in boiling water for 10-12 minutes or steam for 2-3 minutes until barely fork tender
  2. Drain well
  3. If using frozen green beans, thaw first
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet
  5. Saut onion until golden
  6. Stir in green beans, salt and pepper
  7. Heat through
  8. Toss with parsley before serving
