Ingredients

  • Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • Cornstarch
  • Hoisin Sauce
  • Chili-garlic Sauce
  • Reduced-sodium Fat-free Chicken Broth
  • Dark Sesame Oil
  • Green Onion
  • Fresh Ginger
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Boneless Sirloin Steak
  • Cut Green Beans
  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Green Onion Top
  • Cooked White Rice

Instructions

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl, stirring well with a whisk
  2. Set aside
  3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
  4. Add 1 / 4 cup chopped green onions, ginger, and garlic to pan
  5. Saut 30 seconds
  6. Add beef to pan, and saut for 4 minutes or until browned
  7. Remove from pan
  8. Wipe pan dry with a paper towel
  9. Add remaining 1 teaspoon oil to pan
  10. Heat over medium-high heat
  11. Add beans and pepper to pan
  12. Cover and cook 3 minutes
  13. Uncover and cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently
  14. Add 3 / 4 cup green onion tops
  15. Saut 1 minute
  16. Return beef mixture to pan
  17. Stir in broth mixture
  18. Bring to a boil
  19. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly
  20. Remove from heat
  21. Serve with rice
