Try any flavor of preserves in these delicous bars.

Ingredients

  • French Vanilla Cake Mix
  • Margarine
  • Egg
  • Apricot Preserves
  • Cream Cheese
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Generously grease 13×9-inch baking pan
  3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, margarine and egg
  4. Mix with fork until crumbly
  5. Gently spoon 1 1 / 2 cups into measuring cup
  6. Set aside for topping
  7. Press remaining crumb mixture in bottom of pan
  8. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
  9. Spread preserves evenly over crust
  10. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg
  11. Beat until smooth
  12. Spread evenly over preserves
  13. Sprinkle reserved topping mixture over cream cheese
  14. Bake at 350 for 28-30 minutes or until toppng is light golden brown
  15. Chill before serving
  16. Store in refrigerator
