Five Spice Tuna Tataki

Ingredients

  • Tuna Steaks
  • Black Pepper
  • Sesame Oil
  • Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Five-spice Powder
  • Daikon Radish

Instructions

  1. Roll tuna steaks in cracked black pepper
  2. Heat 1 / 2 tablespoon sesame oil in a small nonstick skillet over high heat
  3. Sear tuna for 2 minutes
  4. Turn and sear second side 2 minutes
  5. Remove to a cutting board and thinly slice
  6. Mix soy sauce, remaining tablespoon sesame oil, garlic, and five-spice powder together in a small bowl
  7. Serve sliced tuna and spoon sauce on top
  8. Sprinkle with grated daikon radish
