They're fun, easy and make a quick disappearing act. Refrigerate overnight for easier cutting. They freeze well too and are nice to have on hand for unexpected guests. Times are a guess as are servings.
Note: i used monterrey jack because we prefer it over cheddar.

Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Salsa
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Garlic Powder
  • Green Chilies
  • Black Olives
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Green Onion
  • Burrito-size Flour Tortillas

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl beat cream cheese until smooth
  2. Stir in sour cream, salsa, taco seasoning and garlic powder until well blended
  3. Add in the olives, chilies, cheese and scallions
  4. Spread 1 / 2 cup cheese mixture on each tortilla
  5. Roll up jelly roll style
  6. Wrap in cling wrap
  7. Refrigerate 2 hours
  8. Slice in 3 / 41-in pieces
  9. Secure with toothpick
  10. Serve with additional salsa
  11. Pinwheels may be prepared ahead of time and frozen
  12. Thaw in refrigerator
