  • Salt
  • Boneless Sirloin Steak
  • Onion
  • Celery
  • Fresh Snow Peas
  • Whole Mushrooms
  • Water Chestnut
  • Cornstarch
  • Sugar
  • Soy Sauce
  • Water
  • Steamed Rice

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in large skillet
  2. Add salt, then beef
  3. Cook, stirring often, over high heat to brown meat, about 5 minutes
  4. Add onion, celery, snow peas, mushrooms, and water chestnuts
  5. Continue cooking over high heat, stirring constantly for 2 to 3 minutes
  6. Cover, lower heat and simmer for about 3 minutes
  7. Combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and water in small dish
  8. Mix well
  9. Add to skillet
  10. Cook stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles for 1 minute
  11. Serve immediately over fluffy, steamed rice
