Drunk Noodles

This is my favorite dish at our local thai restaurant. We learnt the recipe at a recent cooking class there. It is excellent!

This is my favorite dish at our local thai restaurant. We learnt the recipe at a recent cooking class there. It is excellent!

Ingredients

  • Wide Rice Noodles
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Garlic
  • Cooked Chicken
  • Soy Sauce
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Mung Bean Sprouts
  • Fresh Basil
  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Green Bell Pepper
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

  1. Soften noodles by soaking in hot water
  2. Drain and set aside
  3. Add oil to hot pan or wok
  4. Cook garlic
  5. Add precooked chicken
  6. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce, and noodles, stir until everything is mixed well
  7. Move noodles to side of pan and crack eggs, mix to scramble, move noodles over egg until cooked
  8. Add sugar
  9. When everything cooked and ready to serve, add bean sprouts, peppers and basil
  10. Add crushed red pepper or pepper sauce to taste
