Description
I used pork instead of turkey, but i must say this is pretty tasty stuff. I wasn't sure about the size of the taco seasoning packet when i posted this–the recipe says to use a packet of taco seasoning mix–i mixed together my own spices instead. I also topped with cilantro. Ingredients
- Ground Turkey
- Onion
- Frozen Corn
- Taco Seasoning Mix
- Water
- Sour Cream
- Salsa
- Tortilla Chips
- Cheese
- Lettuce
- Diced Tomato
- Black Olives
- Avocado
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- In a large skillet, brown ground turkey
- Add onions and corn, cooking until the onions are tender
- Add taco seasoning and water and mix until well combined
- Remove from heat and mix in sour cream and salsa
- Using a 2 quart baking dish, layer a few handfuls of ranch tortilla chips, slightly crushed, to the bottom
- Sprinkle half of the meat mixture over the top and sprinkle with half of the cheese
- Repeat with remaining ingredients
- Bake for 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted
- Top with desired toppings to serve
