Description
I love dirty rice and wanted to lower the fat and calories in it. I think this turned out very well. Using olive oil, ground turkey, ground pork and brown rice makes it a healthier verson.
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver
- Ground Turkey
- Ground Pork
- Onion
- Celery
- Garlic Cloves
- Green Bell Pepper
- Green Onion
- Olive Oil
- Cayenne Pepper
- Creole Seasoning
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Chicken Broth
- Brown Rice
Instructions
- Chop the livers as small as you can, i used a food processor
- Chop the onions, celery and bell pepper and mince the garlic
- In a large pan add the oil, the onions, celery, garlic and bell pepper and saute until transparent
- Add the livers, ground turkey and pork and cook until done
- Add the spices, chicken broth, and rice and cook until rice is done
