Ingredients

  • Prosciutto
  • Olive Oil
  • Onion
  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Tomato Paste
  • Garlic
  • Dry White Wine
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • White Wine Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Dried Basil Leaves
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Saute prosciutto in oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until crisp, 3-4 minutes
  2. Add onion and bell pepper, saute 5 minutes
  3. Stir in tomato paste and garlic, cook 2 minutes
  4. Deglaze with wine, reduce until nearly evaporated
  5. Add remaining ingredients
  6. Bring to a boil and simmer 8-10 minutes
  7. Season with salt and keep warm until ready to serve
