Description
The curry adds a great color and a wonderful flavor to the rice. Serve with any grilled or roasted meats.
Ingredients
- Butter
- Onion
- Garlic Clove
- Curry Powder
- Bay Leaf
- Salt
- Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- Uncooked Rice
- Chicken Broth
Instructions
- Heat butter in a saucepan
- Add the onion and garlic
- Cook, stirring, until soft
- Add the remaining ingredients, except the chicken broth, stirring to coat grains
- Add the chicken broth
- Cover
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat
- Cook 15 to 20 minutes, until rice is tender
- Remove the bay leaf and serve
