My own rendition of the hearty sweet and sour soup that reflects my russian-jewish heritage. Measurements are approximate and should be adjusted according to taste.
Ingredients
- Beef Broth
- Onion
- Beef Stew Meat
- Diced Tomatoes
- Red Cabbage
- Sauerkraut
- Sugar
- Lemon Juice
- Tomato Sauce
- Ketchup
- Carrot
- Celery
- Salt And Pepper
Instructions
- Put meat and onion in crock pot and cover with beef broth and tomatoes
- Cook on low for three hours
- Add the rest of the ingredients
- Cook on low for three hours
- Add salt and pepper as needed
